Our story
Starting out as two electricians, in 2010 we decided to collaborate our efforts, founding the formerly known ‘Clap Electrical Services’.
Operating out of the heart of Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, our business quickly expanded in size and clientele. The business soon became one of Melbourne’s most relied-upon electrical services for companies such as RACV Home Assist and BlueCross Aged Care.
In an effort to reflect the level of professionalism and innovation that the company’s reputation had quickly earned, we decided to change the name and branding to ‘Electrika’.
In keeping pace with demand, Electrika grew and formed a team of trained and certified electricians who care about making a positive difference with the skills they have.
In 2015, members of the team travelled overseas to donate their time and services to help Amari Community Development Organisation in Uganda. Over three weeks the team were able to provide the local school with power, lighting and water pumps, as well as meet in-person, Electrika’s very own sponsor child.
